wends / victories (dpa) – After the violent death of a 16-year-old in the Sauerland Wenden, the public prosecutor wants the only 14-year-old suspects to undergo a psychiatric examination. The teenager had known that he was strangling his classmate in a quarrel on Tuesday near the school grounds. In an interrogation he had stated that he wanted a relationship with the victim. The 16-year-old, however, has not answered. His body was discovered Wednesday at the school in a forest. The 14-year-old is in custody.

The homepage of the comprehensive school Wenden, which both young people had visited, was closed on Saturday. Only a mourning announcement had to be read. Parents were also informed that the school had sent a manual on how to deal with children and adolescents in crises. For pastoral emergencies, the school published a telephone number that can be reached at certain times during the weekend.
Meanwhile, the coach of the football Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim, Julian Nagelsmann (31), in a video message published on Facebook to the survivors of the killed 16-year-old, the old youth player at SV Rothemühle was.
