Hamburg (dpa) – Thousands of Hamburgers have been hit after the discovery of a bomb from the Second World War in their daily lives. The evacuation service made the nearly 500 kilogram bombs harmless in the Wandsbek district in the evening. The American air bomb with two different detonators was discovered during the construction during the afternoon. No people were allowed to be within a radius of 300 meters during work. A shopping center and a nursing home have been cleared. Traffic after work was also disabled.
