Germany no longer relieves the Uyghurs

Uighurmen and members of other Muslim minorities may not be deported to China until further notice.

This is the result of a reaction from the Ministry of the Interior in Berlin on a request from the green Bundestag member Bause. The "Süddeutsche Zeitung" reports about it. Recently, a UN human rights commission reported that more than one million members of the Uighur population were being held in Chinese facilities that appeared to be secret detention centers.

The Uyghurs are in particular a Muslim Turkish people living in the Xinjiang region.

At the beginning of April, one Uighur had been deported from Germany to China, although his asylum application had not yet been established.
