TEndless lovers of videogames make a pilgrimage to Cologne on Tuesday for the tenth edition of the Gamescom exhibition. The first day is reserved for trade visitors and from Wednesday to Saturday private individuals can try out the new games. "Diversity wins" is the motto of this year's fair. The organizers want to show that games have since arrived in the daily lives of many people.
The organizers expect a new record in terms of the number of exhibitors: more than 1000 will be there. Last year more than 350,000 visitors came, some disguised as their favorite game heroes through the corridors. For them there must also be a great program in the center of Cologne, away from the exhibition halls. The fair is opened by Prime Minister Armin Laschet (CDU) of North Rhine-Westphalia and Prime Minister Dorothee Bär (CSU).
