EODY announced 3316 news outbreaks of the new virus in the country, of which 24 were found after checks at the gates of the country. The total number of cases is 66637, of which 54.1% are men.
4,587 (6.9%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 17,773 (26.7%) are related to an already known case.
310 Our fellow citizens are treated by intubation. Their average age is 65. 88 (28.4%) are women and the rest are men. 82.9% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age and older. 353 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally we have 50 deaths still recorded and 959 deaths in the country as a whole. 387 (40.4%) women and the rest men. The median age of our dying fellow citizens was 80 years and 96.9% had an underlying disease and / or the age of 70 years and older.

The data presented refer to cases from the epidemiological surveillance of the disease due to the novel coronavirus (COVID19), based on the data reported to EODY and recorded until November 12, 2020 (15:00 time). The new laboratory confirmed cases of the disease are 3,316, of which 24 were identified after checks at the gates of the country. The total number of cases is 66637 (daily change + 5.2%), of which 54.1% are men. The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 50, while there have been a total of 959 deaths since the start of the epidemic. The median age of the patients who died is 80 years. Of the total of 66 637 cases, 4,587 (6.9%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad, 17,773 (26.7%) relate to a known case and the remainder are not related to travel or any other known case or under investigation. The mean age of cases is 39 years (range 0 to 104 years), while the mean age at death is 80 years (range 25 to 103 years). The map shows the geographic distribution of the total number of COVID-19 cases (since the start of the epidemic) by regional unit of the country, based on the patient’s specified address of permanent residence, or address of temporary residence for tourists and other temporary residents in Greece. Includes both suitcases with travel history (“imported”) and suitcases with possible domestic shipping.

Samples tested: From January 1, 2020 until today, in the laboratories that perform tests for the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and that systematically declare all samples they control to EODY, a total of 2,028,196 clinical samples have been tested from health units and scales from EODYs performing Rapid Ag testing tested 102369 samples.
