A strong blast occurred just before midnight in Piraeus, at the intersection of the Fillellon and Notaras streets.
According to a witness at the point, before the explosion, a person with a car stopped outside the point, left an unknown object at the entrance of the building and then disappeared.
After a few minutes there was an explosion, which resulted in extensive material damage, not only to the building, but also to other adjacent areas, including the Piraeus tax office, a bank branch, a hotel and offices.
Damage was also caused to parked cars.
It should be noted that in the building where the unknown witnesses left the suspicious object is the law firm Grigorios Timageannis, which deals with matters relating to the law of the sea, since he is an arbitrator in arbitrations of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and the International Trade Chamber of Commerce.
After the explosion, the police were found on the spot, blocking the area and investigating the attack.
