For more than two years, West Japan Railways has applied the training task, creating life-threatening future employees.

The Japanese high-speed trains can reach up to 300 km / h. In the knowledge of this, it may be clear that it is not advisable to go too close to such an assembly when it is traveling at high speed, and it does not have to be between two tracks when a train comes from both sides. However, West Japan Railway, which operates part of the Sinkanszen highway, has not banned this from its trainees, but obliges them as a compulsory task.

the BBC According to his report, potential rail racers had, among other things, the task of crouching between two rail tracks and waiting for them to pass the fence in the opposite direction. There are 1 meter deep and 1 meter wide ditch between the railroad tracks, so that the trainees could feel the way forward of the traction trains. Because of this, the Japanese wanted to improve the safety of the track.

The job assigned to trainees was introduced in 2016 after an accident in 2015: a car was damaged by negligent control and a passenger was injured. Since then, about 240 interns have been involved in this part of the training, which can take up to 20 minutes.

According to trade unions, however, this task did not work, because they would not pay more attention to the trains. However, it was a good thing to put them at risk, so they wanted the task to be abolished. In the end they succeeded.

Those who did the job were scary: he was afraid of a gravel on a rail, compared to something else to hit. At the same time, the Japanese railway company said it would not stop the pressure due to pressure, but would only illustrate the speed of the train with new methods.
