A sensational find came from the Danube



A sensational find came from the Danube – reported the RTL Club.

Because of the low water level, a wartime of an American bomber from the Second World War was found in the river near Tököl. It turned out that this machine was shot down in July 1944 by the Hungarian air defense.

Because of the extremely low water level, a dozen days ago, a scavenger had discovered that perhaps a remnant of a World War II machine might be in the basement. Then the experts started looking for it.

The marked wreck is exhibited in a Szolnok museum.
