The Ministry of the United Arab Emirates has removed the Hungarian list of bluetongue countries and as a result of this measure it will be possible to transport cattle and piglets from across the country to the Middle East – the Ministry of Agriculture informed MTI on Monday .
The Communication recalled that bluetongue in livestock and sheep was introduced in Hungary in 2015, causing the export of animals to a number of third countries. However, this year Hungary has successfully met the requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health on bluetongue.
According to the wallet, Lajos Bognár, the national paramedic physician, the partner countries announced that the retrieval of the free status was announced. The United Arab Emirates have fired Hungary from the list of countries affected by the disease in the past few days. Once the veterinary export certificates have been updated, it is again possible to transport cattle and piglets from across the country to the Middle East.
