The biggest development of the last thirty years has been achieved thanks to the joint support and commitment of the operators and the government, and this is how the only ancient horse field in the country can be renewed – said Minister of State Gyula Buda at the inauguration of the Hirling József Lovaspark.
"Kiskunhalas, next to the side and the spa, has been the center of horseback riding for centuries," said Gyula Budai in his speech, which expressed the hope of the solemn donor that thanks to this development the Hungarian horsemen are already in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. could be from the fishing club.
The history of the equestrian base was made by the gendarmerie in 1902 and shortly after the Second World War the police became the border guard. Gyula Budai recalled this in 1953 and emphasized the role of József Hirling, who founded the Határár Dózsa Sport Association. Thanks to the work in the association, the city has a number of Olympic riders. In Rome, István Suti finished in tenth place in 1960, which has been Hungary's best individual performance ever since. In honor of István Suti a memorial plaque was opened for the ceremony and the renewed four season training was mentioned.

Róbert Fülöp, Mayor of Kiskunhalas, emphasized: an important step was the renovation of the horse park in the life of the city, because the base was demolished when it was owned by the settlement. The leader of the city hoped to get support for their other development plans after the first run, because they want to modernize the entire equestrian base – the stands, the stables and the secret horse – because they have sporting and touristy goals with the horse park.
Gábor Bányai (Fidesz-KDNP) emphasized in the speech of the parliamentary representative of the region: it is worthwhile to ask for help and to get this help. "We can replicate all the good things we get," said Banyai, who hoped to receive support for future plans in the only non-stately equestrian center in the country.
"Sport is something everyone talks about regardless of age, and if we think in the future, it is in the interests of Hungarian sports, athletes and Hungarian society that a strong Hungary is created with strong thinking and strong sports. convinced that, thanks to government support, the Hungarian equestrian sport will be reduced to the worthy, valued place it is worth and we can be enthusiastic about them in Tokyo ", said Zsolt Csampa, deputy state secretary for local administrative coordination.
In the more than 110-year-old horse park operated by Kiskunhalas Equestrian and Leisure Center Ltd. the main building was rebuilt from government funds of HUF 400 million, which turned into a multifunctional conference and events house. The complete drainage and drainage system has been built and the base has been added to new entrances, truck parking, internal parking spaces and dotted road surfaces. The pitchfield has been extended so that it can be used to organize international competitions.
The transfer of Kiskunhalas was completed by horse racing, equestrian show elements and children's programs.
