András Csókay, István Hudák and Gergely Pataki made a breakthrough in medical science by successfully completing the second step to separate the cerebral veins in Bangladesh on August 19.

The specialists closed a new heret to enable the final separation of twin-year twins Rabia and Rukia's skull.

The first operation was at the end of February, when the main brain transport network was separated. An abnormal operation was performed on an endovascular path, that is, from the main artery of the thorax in the vascular approach.

In preparation for the remaining interventions in Hungary, with powerful computer analysis and three-dimensional modeling, an accurate adaptation of the twin brain, it became clear that there is still room for a shutter. This operation was performed on August 19, one of the world's most renowned neurosurgeons, István Hudák, in Bangladesh – the Foundation for Action for the Disabled. The organization has been running plastic restoration missions in Bangladesh since 2010, led by Gergely Pataki.

The foundation drew attention to the fact that even in siamese twins it is very rare, only 2 to 6 percent of cases occur in their skulls. Solving this problem is extremely difficult, with a carefully designed set of operations.

The method used by the Hungarian medical team can open new ways to treat cerebral vascular diseases, tumors and conjoined twins, according to the foundation.
