The ban on the sale of halogen products is aimed at accelerating the switch to LED lamps.

Almost 60 years after they started to light our streets and houses, they banned the sale of halogens in Europe – writes The Guardian. According to the new law, stores can only sell their remaining shares from September 1 and can no longer order from the product.

According to industry and experts, switching to LED lights will also significantly reduce current bills and CO2 emissions: LEDs consume five times less power than halogen lamps, which produce only 15 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.

Some, however, do not like the idea: the UKIP spokesman says that many people are badly affected by regulations, especially those who are poorly funded. They say that everyone should get the opportunity to buy as many household items as they want.

It has already become clear that LED lamp lighting can disrupt our sleep, and a few months ago it became clear that many things were revealed that we had not previously done because of the high costs and thus the increased light pollution. In many cases, halogens are smaller than their LED counterparts. However, it is not surprising that LED light sources are widespread, because 80 percent reduces the current bill.

Sparrows seem to have a serious price – this can be combined with the result of a new scientific investigation into LED lamps, which warns that every living thing understands the ever-increasing amount of light pollution.
