Net financial assets with limited debt stood at a historic peak close to 41 billion billion forint.
The wealth of households has grown further – writes Világgazdaság. According to recent data from the National Bank of Hungary, households saved nearly 1300 billion forums in the first half of this year, 800 billion of which were from the second quarter.
Revenues also increased the savings by 670 billion forints in six months. As a result, the financial assets of households rose to a new record of 49,934.8 billion forints. The net financial assets minus debts were also at a historic high, close to 41,200 billion forints.
Cash and deposits continued to grow. A lot of money was lost in households, totaling HUF 4633 billion at the end of June, of which HUF 317 billion.
