The first group-linked bridges for public lighting were presented in Budapest, IX. district Lechner in Ödön, on Tuesday. In the pilot project, five public lighting columns with different functions have been installed and connected.
In addition to energy-saving luminescence and remote control, the columns also offer extra intelligent functions such as Wi-Fi, video surveillance, emergency call, electric vehicle filling, ambient sensor sensors and programmable LED information screens.
After the show, organized assessment Kaderják Péter, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology stressed: the project of Hungarian developers, intelligent columns, contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of Budapest. The total costs amounted to approximately HUF 50 million.
Marie-Theres Thiell, the chairman of the board of directors of Elme-Émasz said the project involved the enthusiastic Elmö-Émász, investor and general contractor, and the BDK Budapest Appointment and Public Lighting Ltd. The company also invests and finances the owner of the installed columns and the public lighting operator, NETvisor is a system integrator.
