fertilizer stocks: update of the stock market: the fertilizer stock rises to 11%; National fertilization, RCF top gainers

NEW DELHI: Most fertilizer stocks were properly traded on Friday in the morning session of the trade.

Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (+ 10.63 percent) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (+ 9.61 percent) were front runners among artificial fertilizers.

Shares of national fertilizers (up to 6.26 percent), Rama phosphates (+ 6.06 percent), Basant Agro Tech (India) (+ 3.59 percent), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (+ 3.31 percent), Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals (up 2.43 per cent), Coromandel International (+ 2.38 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (+ 2.20 per cent) and GSFC (+ 2.08 per cent) made significant gains.

Shares of Shiva Global Agro Industries (1.74% lower) and Bharat Agri Fert & Realty (less than 1.35%) declined around this time.

Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty were good for healthy purchases by domestic institutional investors, as industrial output rose 6.6 percent in July and retail inflation had cooled to a 10-month low.

Asian signals were also positive about the optimism about the trade negotiations between China and the US.

The NSE Nifty50 index traded 85 points at 11.455 at 10:20. The 30-part BSE Sensex rose by 214 points to 37,932 in the same period.

Of the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were in the green and nine in the red.

Indiabulls Housing Finance, YES Bank, BPCL, UPL, PowerGrid, HPCL and Grasim Industries were leaders in Nifty gainers.
