New Delhi: The subsidized cooking gas (LPG) price on Sunday increased by ₹ 2.89 per cylinder to ₹ 50.4 per cylinder.
The price of non-subsidized LPG in Delhi will increase by ₹ 59.00 per cylinder in October 2018, mainly due to changes in the international price and exchange rate fluctuations, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) stated in a statement.
The actual impact on subsidized domestic LPG customers is only ≤89 per cylinder, mainly due to GST on the above, IOC added.
The subsidy transfer to customers' bank accounts was increased to ₹ 37.60 per cylinder in October 2018, compared to ₹ 320.49 per cylinder in September 2018.
"For example, the domestic subsidized LPG customer is protected from the rise in LPG prices," he said.
