"In my first two years I did not make honest choices when it came to my sense of fashion to find out who I was and that reflected in my fashion choices .In my early days, the concept of appreciation and criticism was new to me. I also remember at school, I was called "atrangi" because of my Mohawk, ear piercings, baggy I've always been, but over time I've been in situations where I had the chance to think. I do not worry anymore to be judged or influenced by the opinions of others. I started making authentic choices, especially when it comes to fashion, "said the actor.
After making his Bollywood debut with the romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat, the actor has shown his courage in various roles in films like Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl, Lootera, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Gunday, Dil Dhadakne Do, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
Although he gave hits with different female stars in many films, his connection with the rumored girlfriend Deepika Padukone was much appreciated in many of his cinematic offers. The grapevine also has the fact that Ranveer and Deepika are planning to marry in November in Italy amidst a small crowd of close and loved ones. But neither of them have spoken about it yet.
Ranveer's following films are Rohit Shetty's Simbaa, Goya Akhtar's Gully Boy and Kabir Khan's 83, in which he will show the role of ex-cricketer Kapil Dev.
