Over the years, we have seen some of Bollywood's biggest stars do the unthinkable for their film. But how many times have you heard of a director doing the same? The director of "Helicopter Eela", Pradeep Sarkar, who is currently being treated for dengue at a Mumbai hospital, shocked everyone when he took special permission to leave the facility to shoot a key scene with Amitabh Bachchan.

According to the latest reports, Amitabh was scheduled to shoot his cameo for the film on August 14 and had assigned his dates accordingly for other work commitments. The director, who got sick on August 11, reportedly made a point to keep the project on schedule and took a special leave to shoot the scene for a few hours in a studio in Andheri.

Since the treatment of Sarkar was still ongoing, the team of the producer Ajay Devgn would have held an 'ambulance in standby. Although Ajay could not be there in person while he is filming for his next, his wife and actress Kajol intervened to oversee the work on the set.

After successfully completing filming, the director was admitted to the hospital.
