Ahmedabad residents of the city had the poorest reaction to the Mazelen rubella (MR) vaccination program of the government.
By 14.80, lakh children were the target for vaccination, only 5.37 lakh children were vaccinated in Ahmedabad.
She addressed the media people and said: "It is our social responsibility to see that no child is left behind in the vaccination program, because they can become victims of deadly diseases such as measles and rubella.
The figures released by the government of Gujarat showed that only 36% of children were vaccinated against the total target.
Gandhinagar city showed restraint for the vaccination program with only 28% of the target.
