With just a few games left in the European season, here are the best goal scorers from the five strongest divisions of this continent so far this year. While FC Barcelona's top star Lionel Messi is ahead, Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo is still not in the top 10.

The Blaugrana captain has found the back of the net 27 times since the beginning of the year on all platforms for his side, after having played in 28 games. With two games remaining until the end of the Barca season, Messi was able to add his palmares before the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
The closest to the Argentinian is Paris Saint-Germain, ahead of Kylian Mbappe, which has improved since last season. The 20-year-old has struck 20 times so far in 21 games in 2019, but may have had more goals, were it not for the suspension he currently serves.

Karim Benzema, who has not been regularly in these lists of late, is remarkably third in the status with his 19 goals so far in 2019. The French attacker has attended something this season at Real Madrid, proving that he is far from finished at the highest level.
The talisman of Manchester City, Sergio Aguero, follows the aforementioned Benzema with his 18 strokes, while the Senegalese Sadio Mane from Liverpool currently has 17 goals with one game until the end of his season.

High-profile names such as Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also in the rankings, while Ronaldo is outside the top 10 with 12 goals in 17 games so far this year.
