A mild tremor with noise similar to munitions in parts of Bengaluru sent residents to several areas of tizzy on Thursday. Residents disturbed came out of their home afraid of a great earthquake in their departure. However, Dr. G S Srinivas Reddy, the head of the State Center for Natural Disaster Control in Karnataka (KSNDMC), confirmed that it was not a quake but a root movement. "Our records show that it was not a quake, but a move. There is a dynamic system of our country," Reddy told PTI.
Although this was a phenomenon that was observed in many places, it felt more intense in the southern part of Bengaluru. Some people have noticed that the windows and the doors were leaking for no reason. Padmini, the resident said, was astonished when the window and door of her house were wildly ringing. Y Vasundhara, a resident of southern Bengaluru, said that at home, he heard a huge crowd around 15.05. "At first I felt that it was a thunderstorm, but then I noticed that the sun was outdoors, I got out of the house and looked into the sky, but it was clear." Later, my neighbors who drove I said it was earthquake. "Homemaker S Sandhya also had a similar experience. And she felt she was shaking as she heard the rising sound. "I realized that it was only after watching television," Sandhya said.
