The medium sized sedan is now fully unveiled in the espionage photo's and almost everything about the car can be seen in the images. The new model sees a number of important improvements in almost all aspects compared to the existing model. The front of the car gets a new grille and streamlined LED projector headlamps underlined by LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The higher variants of the car also get a new pattern on the LED tail lights that resemble those of a BMW when glowing.

In terms of safety, the new 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift offers double airbags and ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD as standard for all variants. According to recent reports, the car will also receive a seat belt reminder for occupants at the front along with a speed warning system.

the biggest changes to the new 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift is the engine. The new model gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine while the diesel engine is the same 1.3-liter DDiS unit. The gearbox will be manual with five gears and there is a possibility that Maruti will offer the option of an AMT for both engine options.
