"Alhamdulillah, when we welcomed the new Islamic year, we held a torchlight procession in which about 20,000 people participated," KH Fajar Laksana, the chairman of the Tarhib 1 Muharam commission, told reporters on the sidelines of the activity. Tens of thousands of residents came from representatives of seven sub-districts consisting of student emissaries, students, students, Islamic boarding schools, Islamic organizations, DKM mosques, TNI / Polri devices and civil society organizations.

Fajar explained, this excitement shows that the level of public awareness in religion is increasing. In addition, it reflects faith and piety and the influence of Islam.
