JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Vice-presidential candidate Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno receives a message from their mothers after performing Eid al-Adha prayers in Jatinegara Battle Monument, Jalan Matraman Raya, Bali Mester, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Wednesday (22-08-2018).
Sandiaga said, the mothers requested that he would ensure that the cost of living needs would remain stable.
"For the mothers who are here, we want a strong government that is strong to fight for the cost of living so as not to burden them even more," Sandiaga said.
Moreover, Sandi said, the majority of the residents around the Jatinegara Monument of Struggle demanded that the government pay more attention or give part to the interests of the people during the coming 2019 presidential elections.

"The residents said they left a message that God wanted, the presidential election process also paid attention to them, not just the elite arena that gave priority to the interests of the group, but a few that offer solutions in the 2019 presidential elections, "said Sandiaga.
According to Sandiaga, this can be done by building up a strict government in the future by remaining for the interests of the people.
On the other hand, the former vice-governor of DKI Jakarta also stressed the importance of micro- or real economic development. That, said Sandiaga, will be directly felt by the community.
"When you talk about economics, do not talk about macroeconomic, but about microeconomics (by the community)," Sandiaga said.
