KOMPAS.com – The earthquake shook again Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Sunday (19-08-2018). Two earthquakes occurred.

The first earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 took place around 11.06 WIB. The quake concentrated on 8.29 LS and 116.62 BT, about 25 km northeast of East Lombok. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The second earthquake magnitude 6.5 took place around 11:10 WIB.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG ) noted that the location of the epicenter at 8.24 LS and 118.66 BT was approximately 32 km northeast of East Lombok. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The earthquake did not have tsunami potential.

Shocks felt in Mataram II SIG-BMKG (IV MMI), Central Lombok, West Lombok, North Lombok, East Lombok, Bima, Besakih and Sumbawa Besar II SIG-BMKG (III MMI).

Earthquakes also felt in Denpasar and Jimbaran, Bali and Waingapu, East Nusa Tenggara.
