Bodies of dusty Indonesian citizens in Germany arrive in Malang, crying for broken families – VIVA

The body was originally scheduled to arrive on August 17, 2018, but withdrew for a maximum of two weeks after the disaster.

"We thank the government for helping to bring our sister, although there was a miscommunication for the return, I could finally take my sister," said Haris Nuril Huda, Shinta's older brother in Malang, East Java.

Whereas the regional subdirectorate of Regional Administration 2 of the Directorate for the Protection of Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Fajar Nuradi said that the repatriation process of Shinta required time because there were procedures initiated by the Indonesian government had to be followed up.

"Because the procedure takes a long time in Germany, an autopsy is needed, on the 15th the autopsy is complete, the results are purely an accident." After the body has returned to the country, the Indonesian consulate follows the body, "Fajar said.

Fajar said, the second obstacle that frightened families because they were waiting for the bodies to arrive was transporting cargo to Indonesia. According to him there was noise and confusion about the repatriation of corpses in connection with miscommunication.

"This freight delivery process can be an obstacle by waiting for slots, which I know from Europe is very rare: not all aircraft repatriate the box and finally the company was completed yesterday in Jakarta and now arrived at the funeral home," Fajar said.

The arrival of Shinta's body in the funeral home was greeted by a rain of tears. Shinta is known as a good person. Performance in the academic world is also not small. After graduating from Shinta High School, he continued his studies in Germany with a scholarship.

Umi Salamah, the mother of Shinta, could not cover her grief that her second child left behind. Umi Salamah said, Shinta had left Indonesia five years ago to study in Germany. Initially he took medical training at the University of Leipzig and then continued the concentration of forensic specialist education at the University of Bayreuth.

"He spent five years in Germany, indeed, this child does not want to go back to Indonesia consistently before he graduates." Insha Allah, he graduated this December, "said Umi Salamah, Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

This graduation plan in December has finally disappeared. Shinta is first called by the Almighty. Even the plan, Shinta, will marry after graduation with her beloved who is also a resident of Malang, East Java.

"All lectures in Germany are purely scholarships and after graduating in December he also wants to get married. I have lost my only daughter, she is a cheerful and smart child," Umi Salamah said.

Since the news of the departure of Shinta, Umi Salamah has been continuously shed. The mother of three children is deeply saddened by the departure of Shinta. Moreover, her daughter's dream to study before she returned to Indonesia and married, eventually got to the ground.

"Since I've got the news, I'm not eating comfortably, praying has already been paid, but I can not stop crying because I feel very lost," said Umi Salamah.

The body of Shinta is buried in TPU Bandulan, Malang City. The acting mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, expressed his condolences to the funeral home. While some colleagues and relatives also came to the funeral home to pay their last obeisances to Shinta.
