VIVA – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said, during the investigation, the former Vice-President of Commission VII of the House of Representatives Eni Maulani Saragih said that the director of PT PLN President, Sofyan Basir, was reportedly involved in a bribery scandal in the Riau-1 PLTU building project. But do not want to be careless in taking action against this issue, other supporting evidence is needed.
"Only from one person, Eni (who was called Sofyan Basir) .None, only one witness," said KPK Vice-President Alexander Marwata to reporters on Sunday, September 2, 2018.
According to Alex, Eni has been relatively cooperative so far. In fact, from his statement he revealed the involvement of Idrus Marham. The KPK found enough evidence to entangle the former Secretary General of Golkar party.
Alex added that, on the basis of Eni & # 39; s recognition, bribes related to the Riau-1 PLTU project he received would also be distributed to Idrus and Sofyan Basir.
"He (Eni once) told the IM (Idrus Marham), I'm done with a meeting with SB (Sofyan Basir), the distribution will be the same," Alex Eni quoted as telling KPK researchers.
Nonetheless, he said, the KPK still collected evidence to reinforce Eni's information about Sofyan's alleged involvement in the US $ 900 million investment project.
"If there is sufficient evidence, we will raise it, only as a witness, because the evidence is not enough," Alex said.

Earlier, several times, Eni had explained that he had revealed everything that had happened with regard to the Riau-1 PLTU kickbacks. Eni also unveiled meetings attended by PLN President Director Sofyan Basir and shareholder Blackgold Natural Insurance Limited, Johanes Budisutrisno Kotjo.
Idrus Marham, together with Eni, would receive a gift or promise from Johanes to transfer Blackgold to a member of the PT Pembangkit Jawa-Bali consortium in working on the Riau-1 PLTU project.
