JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Supreme Court (MA) justifies an arrest operation (OTT) performed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) against a judge at the Medan District Court (PN), North Sumatra.
Spokesman MA Suhadi said the judges who were secured by the crackdown of the KPK team Medan District Chief Marsudin Nainggolan, deputy chairman of the district court in Medan, Wahyu Prasetyo Wibowo, judge of the career Sontan Merauke, and ad hoc judge Meri Purba.
"Yes, I got this information at 8:30 am and ended up holding a ceremony, then visited by the KPK, and opposite the leadership room and then taken to the Medan High Court," said Suhadi when contacting Kompas.com on Tuesday (28/8).
Suhadi said the KKK invasion team had gone to the Medan District Court around 08.30 WIB. Then the judges and clerks were brought to the room for an initial investigation.

In addition, Suhadi, the KPK enforcement team, brought the judge and clerk to the North Sumatran prosecutor's office around 10.30 WIB.
Suhadi, however, did not exactly know the case with regard to law enforcement in the court of Medan.
"It is not yet clear what matters have to do with it, if there is indeed a form of money that we do not know," said Suhadi.
Earlier, the Corruption Eradication Commission reported a hand-arrest operation (OTT) against state managers in Medan City, North Sumatra (North Sumatra), including today, Tuesday (28-08-2018).
"Yes, there have been activities by the KPK Enforcement Team in Medan during the past few days.This morning, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 until this afternoon, at least eight people are secured for further investigation," said KPK Basaria Panjaitan, Vice-President in a short message. , Tuesday (28 / 8/2018).

Basaria said, of the eight people secured, there were people who served as judges, clerks and other parties.
According to him, alleged transactions have taken place in connection with the handling of corruption cases in Medan.
"Money has also been committed in the form of Singapore dollars," Basaria said.
Basaria, however, has not yet disclosed in detail which cases have been treated by KPK researchers.
Basaria said, if there were any developments, it would be announced again, including how many people would be taken to the KPK office in Jakarta.
"So far, we have just transferred the information and the team is working to verify information from the community we have received," said Basaria.
