HEADLINE newspaper TRIBUN JABAR Sunday edition 26 August 2018 presents a main report on two highway police officers (PJR) who are shot on Friday (08/24/2018) night at Km 122 of the Pejagan-Kanci toll road by three unidentified people.
Deputy Inspector One (Aiptu) Dodon Kusgiantoro and Aiptu Widi Harjana were able to answer.
The chest and arms of Dodon were wounded, while his partner was hit by the hand. Both were then treated at Mitra Plumbon Hospital, Cirebon.
In order to trace the shooters, the officers brought in the help of two sniffer dogs of the types Merder-Rottwiler and Belgian Malinois.
The maintenance of dozens of local officers and the Mitra Plumbon hospital, where they were treated, was tightened up.
The West Java Regional Superintendent, Inspector General Agung Budi Maryoto, said it was a joint team of West Java regional police and the Cirebon police to maximize the chase.
"We will become totality so that the perpetrators can be captured immediately," said Agung.
He said that he could not reveal the motives of the gunmen. The reason is that the perpetrators can not be arrested. "Now that we are pursuing it, all motives are being questioned," Agung Budi said. (*)
