A man fights for his life after a double-breaking incident in the city of Limerick, where another man is left in the hospital.
It was reported tonight that the two men, who were in their early twenties, were stabbed in Woodbine Avenue, Caherdavin in the north of the city on Monday morning at 03.00.
According to the Limerick leader, one man is treated at Cork University Hospital, where his condition is treated as life-threatening, while another is treated at University Hospital Limerick, where his injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.
The Limerick leader also reports that Garda forensics connected to the Mayorstone garda station dropped off the stage in the residential area.
It is not believed that arrests have been made at this stage, with ongoing investigations.
