A drunken expectant bride kicked a female garda and tried to bite her after a "bottomless brunch" engagement party, heard a court.
Martha Sanchez (29), of Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin, avoided the prison after making a charitable donation.
Judge Dermot Dempsey told the district court of Swords that he "seriously considered a custodial sentence".
The court was told that Sanchez celebrated her engagement at a meal where unlimited prosecco was served.
She then became involved in a quarrel about her taxi ride from Ranelagh to Swords from € 30 and when gardaí was called, she cursed them.
When Sanchez was taken to Gorga station, she was wounded as she tried to run out the door.
Garda Elaine Duffy tried to give first aid, but Sanchez attacked her and left a bloody saliva stripe on her uniform where she tried to bite her.
Sanchez pleaded guilty to violent behavior in a Garda station, abuse, drunkenness and use of threatening and abusive behavior in Swords on December 16, 2017.
