Gardai is hunting for an alleged armed robbery in Dublin on Saturday night, reports Dublin Live.
The aggravated incident took place in the Firhouse area at 7.40 pm in a store on Ballycullen Road, where a sum of money was collected.
One source told the Irish Mirror that a seemingly firearm was used in the theft of a shop, and a car was then kicked at gunpoint when the suspect fled the stage.
The gardai helicopter was able to circle around the area for almost an hour, while the Pope attended the Festival of Families in Croke Park.
A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "A theft took place tonight at a retail property on Ballycullen Road, Firhouse at 7.40 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018.
"One man went into the store and took a sum of money, no people were injured and escaped in a car.
"No arrests and cases that are being investigated."
