Spiritual program for a papal visit to Knock



Knock Shrine has released a detailed program for Pope Francis's visit to Knock Shrine as part of the World Meeting of Families celebrations.
Especially for this occasion, Knock Shrine encourages everyone to arrive early for a Gathering Event & # 39; and to stay for the celebration of the Sunday Eucharistic celebration after the departure of the pope to Dublin.
At 8.25 am on the morning of Sunday 26 August the bubbles of Knock Shine will ring. All churches in the family of six dioceses belonging to the ecclesiastical province of Tuam are invited to ring their bells at the same time to indicate the beginning of the meeting at Knock and a warm céad míle fáilte & # 39; to expand to Pope Francis.
From 8.30 am there is a constructive event called Witness to faith and family. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, Pope Francis will go through the assembly in the Popemobiel arriving at the Apparition Facade to 10am where he will be received by the Rector of the Sanctuary, p Richard Gibbons.
