Turnover reaches € 6,000 in methamphetamine during a search for a house in Cork

Revenue Officers have seized 100 grams of presumed methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of € 6,000.

The confiscation took place during a house search while searching for a home in Cork City on Tuesday.

It was made as a result of a joint operation performed by Revenue & # 39; s Customs Service, Gardaí of the Divisional Drugs Unit on Anglesea Street and the Office for Drug and Organized Crime.

A 48-year-old Irish man was arrested by Gardaí and detained at the Bridewell Street Garda station, according to the provisions of article 4 of the Criminal Justice 1984.

He was early this morning for Cork City District Court.

This operation was part of ongoing joint investigations focused on the import of medicines.
