A woman appeared in court in connection with a road accident last year that claimed the life of a man in Dundalk, County Louth.

Eimear White (21) Castlecarra, Riverstown, County Louth, was released on bail when she appeared before the court of Dundalk this morning.

She is accused of dangerous driving and the death of Robert McLoughlin (29) on October 21, 2017 on the Old Newry Road, Dowdallshill, Dundalk.

Garda Andy McGuill testified of arresting the accused and charging her this morning.

He said she answered & # 39; no comment & # 39 ;, after imposed warning.

Judge John McLoughlin was asked to adjourn the case until October 17 for a supporting document (the case of the prosecutor) to be ready.

He provided legal assistance and was informed that the conditions for bail had been agreed.

She was taken into custody on her own deposit of € 100 and the case was adjourned on 17 October at the court of Dundalk.

The accused sat still during the case. She wore a black jacket, pants and shoes with a white blouse.

A man has already been charged in connection with the same incident.
