Israel Chemicals and NICE Systems today led the market higher while Teva and Perrigo have fallen.
The Tel Aviv stock exchange has risen today. The Tel Aviv 35 index increased by 0.60% to 1,676.03 points; the Tel Aviv 125 index rose by 0.54% to 1,501.03 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose by 0.55% to 397.50 points. The corporate bond index of TelBond 20 fell by 0.08% to 349.20 points. Sales in the trade amounted to NIS 660.9 million.
On the foreign exchange market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel dollar representative interest rate at 0.146% to NIS 3.604 / $ on Friday and set the shekel euro rate 0.251% lower at 4.212 / €.
On the market, Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) increased by 1.66% and NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 1.73% for the largest increase in the Tel Aviv 35 index. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) increased by 0.93% and Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) increased by 0.81%.
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) decreased by 1.48% for the largest fall in the Tel Aviv 35 index. Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE: FRUT; OTCBB: FRUTF) fell by 0.24% on the largest trade turnover of the day and Perrigo Company (NYSE: PRGO; TASE: PRGO) decreased by 0.89%.
