Another patient with Covid-19 at Derriford Hospital has died, it has been announced.
Data from the NHS England shows that the last hospitalized death was recorded on Nov. 13, announced in the latest figures as of today, Nov. 15.
The latest death brings the total number of coronavirus-related deaths at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust to 99. It contributes to two deaths confirmed at Derriford in the figures released yesterday.
The total number of hospital deaths for Plymouth now stands at 101, including the two deaths previously recorded at Livewell Southwest Mount Gould Hospital.

The latest figures did not announce any other deaths from Devon or Cornwall hospitals, showing that 132 individuals who tested positive for the virus across England had died.
The number of deaths of patients with Covid-19 by region is as follows:
East of England – 9
London – 8
Midlands – 36
North East & Yorkshire – 36
Northwest – 27
Southeast – 12
Southwest – 4
A spokesperson for the NHS England said: “An additional 132 people who tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in UK hospitals to 36,322.
“Patients were between 45 and 100 years old. All but one (69 years) had known the underlying health problems.
“The date of death varies from October 23 to November 14, 2020, with the majority on or after November 12.
“Their families have been informed.”
