The IDF devastated Monday the home of terrorist Mohammad Tareq Yousef from the village of Kobar in the West Bank, which last month staged a stab at the Adam settlement.
in which Yotam Ovadia was murdered.
During the operation, violent riots broke out, throwing dozens of Palestinian bricks, Molotov cocktails, torched tires and pipe bombs to the soldiers.
The terrorist attack in Adam took place on the eve of 26 July when Yousef, 17, infiltrated the settlement through the fence, passed through a playground and stabbed three random people before being shot dead by one of his victims.
Father of the two Yotam Ovadia,
31, who was critically wounded in the attack, succumbed to his wounds and was put to rest the next day.
A 58-year-old victim was also seriously injured, along with a third victim who sustained minor injuries.
The terrorist's house was scrapped earlier than in previous cases that took place in recent years, in the light of the emerging criticism
on the effectiveness of the demolition of houses of terrorists as a deterrent policy against further terrorist attacks.
According to the IDF 35 houses of terrorists were demolished, while five others were sealed between 2015 and 2017. So far, in 2018, four houses were demolished and one closed, with three other demolition jobs.
A legal battle is currently being conducted by the terrorist family who killed Adiel Kolman
at the Lion's Gate in Jerusalem, about five months ago, who expressed objections to the demolition.
In recent years, the number of actual demolitions of houses of terrorists has dropped significantly.
The faction of the National Union in the Bayit Yehudi party has changed several times to Dina Poliak, the official for freedom of information of the Ministry of Defense, as well as at the Ministry of Public Security, the Israeli police and the IDF, with the question why there are still a lot of terrorist houses to be razed to the ground.
