Weather: rises in temperature to slightly above average
RAMALLAH, August 20, 2018 (WAFA) – The weather on Monday, even during the holidays in Al-Adha, is partly cloudy and clear with a rise in temperature to be a bit higher than the annual average, according to the Palestinian meteorological department (PMD).
Wind is southwest to northwest, light to moderate, sometimes active and sea waves low to medium.
The temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a height of 30 ° C and a low of 21 ° C and in Ramallah and Hebron a height of 28 ° C and a low of 20 ° C. In Jericho and the Dead Sea a temperature reaches 40 ° C and a low of 27 ° C, while in the Jordan Valley a peak of 38 ° C and a low point of 25 ° C is expected. In Gaza and the coastal areas, a height of 30 ° C and a low of 26 ° C are expected.
No change in weather conditions is expected for Tuesday, the first day of the four-day Al-Adha holiday, but a slight drop in temperature is expected for Wednesday and a slight increase on Thursday, said the PMD.
