Israeli settlers chop up dozens of olive trees in West Bank city

JENIN, 18 August 2018 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers cut down dozens of olive trees in Arrabeh, a town south of the northwestern shore of the city city of Jenin, local sources said on Saturday.

They told WAFA that settlers from the illegal settlement of Dotan chopped the trees, many of them older than 15 years, into a land near the settlement.

Settlers regularly target olive trees in that area, particularly as the season of the olive harvest, a major source of income to hundreds of Palestinian families, is approaching.
