A number of Israeli settlers landed on Monday morning in a Palestinian olive grove in the Al Hamra area, east of Yatta, south of the southern city of West Hebron, and have cut at least fifteen trees.
The coordinator of the national and popular committees in the south of Hebron, Rateb Jabour, told the Palestinian news and information agency (WAFA) that Israeli attackers cut more than fifteen trees owned by members of Ribâ € ™ s family.
Jabour added that the colonizer was from Maâ € ™ on and Havat Maâ € ™ on colonies illegally built on private Palestinian lands.
He also stated that the attack has been part of numerous similar violations in recent years and added that the settlers are trying to occupy the territories to build and expand their illegal colonies and outposts.
Jabour appealed to national, legal, regional and international organizations and human rights groups to intervene and help to end the seriously escalating Israeli violations.
