»Soldiers wound up Minister Waleed Assaf with four other Palestinians – IMEMC News

On Thursday, Israeli soldiers attacked dozens of non-violent Palestinian demonstrators near Ramallah, the central city on the West Bank, and shot a minister of government with a rubber-coated steel bullet in his ear, in addition to wounding four other Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) said that the soldiers have shot at Minister Walid Assaf, the head of the National Commission against the Wall and Colonies of the Annexes, with a rubber-coated steel ball in his ear.

The PRCS added that the soldiers also attacked many Palestinians, injuring four of them, during a non-violent procession against an Israeli military order that illegally seized land owned by the owners in the village of Ras Karkar, northwest of Ramallah.

They also protested against illegally bulldozing and uprooting the countries when the soldiers resorted to excessive use of force.

Two of the injured Palestinians were rushed to the hospitals in Ramallah for further treatment.
