A new report from the Israeli security service (Shin Bet) concluded that terrorist attacks against Israelis have increased by 15 percent in July.
According to the Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA), the number of terrorist attacks increased from 220 in June to 255 in July. The vast majority of the documented terrorist attacks contained incendiary bombs.
One of the fatalities of the terrorist attacks was the 21-year-old Israeli Defense Force (IDF) soldier Aviv Levi, who was murdered by a Palestinian sniper who used an Iranian rifle with bullets that could penetrate the armor. The other fatality was the 31-year-old Yotam Ovadia, who was stabbed to death by a 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist in the Adam (Geva Benyamin) community close to the West Bank.
The figure of 255 still decreases from 365 in May, the highest example of terrorist attacks against Israelis since October 2015, when 620 terrorist attacks against Israelis took place.
