Lightning at Cagliari airport, flights diverted – Chronicle

(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, 18 AGO – Discomfort in air connections
at the airport of Cagliari as a result of a sudden wave of
bad weather. Flights delayed or diverted to the airports of
Alghero, Trapani, Palermo and Catania. Especially in the evening one
strong storm, with a lightning flash, hit the
Cagliari. Lightning also hits the 32 number oriented
to the north, creating a micro-lesion on the asphalt. The airport is
open regularly but some planes are waiting to land
they chose other airports.
In particular, the flight of
Milan Linate, while flights have been delayed
they came from Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna and Milan Malpensa. in
