A 44-year-old woman, Filomena Cataldi, was brutally beaten and killed in San Polo di Torrile, in the lower part of Parma. The alleged perpetrator of the murder, a 36-year-old Chinese, was stopped by the Carabinieri. The crime took place in the condominium where they both lived. There would have been a fight and the 36-year-old would have entered the victim's home to beat her and then strangle her. The man would then be directly transferred to the carabinieri.

According to a first reconstruction of the facts there would have been an argument between the two and the 36-year-old who lives upstairs, the stairs have descended and once the women's apartment has entered, he would hit her violently and beat her several times. to the face and body, he would have strangled her and eventually thrust her throat. It would be the same author of the murder who had ever suffered the crime, to warn 112 that he had admitted what had happened a few moments before.

For the neighbors, the 36-year-old had already had other violent behavior, both with his wife and with some residents of the building. The aggressive nature of man would not have been a mystery in the building of the Emilian country. Some tenants in fact tell us that a resident in the structure would also have thought about moving to avoid the violent behavior of the Chinese citizen. At the moment, however, there are no reports or complaints to the police.

Filomena Cataldo, married, was well known in the village of the lower part of Parma. He worked in a nearby company of gourmet products.
