The performance “Death of the Perfect Sentence” by director Walter Sīlis will premiere on December 6 at the Latvian National Theater without spectators. It is based on a novel by the Estonian writer Rein Raud.
Director Valters Sīlis covers the history of the late 1980s in Estonia in Reina Rauda’s work “The Death of the Perfect Sentence”, while at the same time reflecting on the history of Latvia and the atmosphere of the Awakening period, when people came together and shrugged. shoulder.
Director Valters Sīlis highlights the experiences of people in the theme of the performance:

People took a breath of freedom and could finally say what they thought, but the Czech agents were nowhere to be found. The painful theme is one of the show’s central stories, inspired by the image of the writer himself.
