The National Council for Scientific Research organized the annual celebration of the distribution of scholarships to high school graduates – the sixteenth episode to the State of Serail under the patronage of Prime Minister Saad Hariri, represented by the Minister of Culture. Ghattas Khoury.

Students who hold the top five in all branches of the high school diploma in Lebanon benefit from the graduation program of the High School Council.

The number of students who benefited from the Council program this year, 29 students and students from public and private schools. The students are divided into the following universities: Lebanese American University (9), American University of Beirut (7), Saint Joseph University (6), Lebanese University (4), University of Venice (1), Arab University of Beirut (1 ) Outside of Lebanon. Hamza noted that the Lebanese students had won 75 percent of the first seats, including 30 percent of public school students, the highest rate recorded in 10 years. Since the academic year 2002, 303 students have benefited from the Council's scholarship program, which is divided among nine universities with a high-level university education. "

Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Georges Tahemeh said: "The first goal of the state is to encourage them to stay in Lebanon, those who have such eminent people should pay attention to their university achievements and take their example for our universities."
