Speaker of the Seimas: the undisputed forest fails

Speaker of the Sejm Viktor Prancky said that increasing the forestry percentage will enable the forests of the country to be restored and help lower the prices of biofuels.

"Forest growth is 15% higher than cuttings – in other words, it is an obsolete forest and then it becomes rotten and so, an undetermined forest fails. (…) A simple example is that if the birch trees do not grow during 60-80 are mined, they do not have to cross them, they are rotten, "said V. V. Prancky also argued that forest cover should be extended as a result of the rising prices of biofuels.

"Another motive is very important: the increase in the price of biofuels and the increase in the price of biofuels are linked to a decline in supply, which would increase the supply of crossings. have on prices, "- said V. Pranckietis.

"Proportional logging of forests can lower prices," the head of the Seimas added.
