The Lithuanian astrophysical Olympiad in China won the bronze medal



Ignas Juodzbalis, a member of the 12th International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad, has returned with a bronze medal from China, Beijing.

The 12-year-old astronomical knowledge of Vilnius-lichen is being deepened in the astronomical unit of the non-official education center of Lithuania (LMNESC), of which the teacher is Aurelija Visockienė.

Lithuania was also represented by Paulina Dainora Erichsmeier (teacher Tomas Kivaras) and Vilniaus licėjų vienuoliktokas, Ignas Mačiulis (teacher Aurelija Visockienė), member of the Lithuanian National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, astronomical member of the Kaunas Technical University Gymnasium.

The team was accompanied by associate professor from the University of Vilnius (VU). Jacob Sudejis and VU researcher Dr Vidas Dobrovolskas.
