1,000 gather to protest against the conventions against discrimination

MORE than 1,000 people attended today a meeting organized by the wings of Umno and PAS Youth to protest against the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD).
The crowd, consisting of representatives of civil society organizations, began gathering around midday in the vicinity of Masjid Jamek, Kuala Lumpur.
